13TH APRIL 2007, FRIDAY.

It has been quite some time since Secondary 1's and 2's percussionists have to go for Friday's band practice. But I don't know if this is considered a miracle: I look forward to attending band nowadays. Maybe it's because I'm really trying to love what I have, or the teamwork of percussion is increasing - making band practices easier and more relaxing - that are the reasons.

But today's band practice wasn't bad; Funny I can say. Kai Wen taught me first so I could teach the rest. Guys look so funny playing the mallets, like it is not an "instrument" that they suit playing. Especially Jun Ze; I don't know why but he playing the mallets makes me laugh even at the thought of it.

He asked me to hold the score in front of him and count the rhythm for him. It was okay at first and I was kind of amazed he nailed part of the song already. But I looked at his face and the way he was "rushing" - because my rhythm was a bit too fast - I laughed continuously but kept the score in direction so he could see and play.

Michael, Yong Xiong, "Suria" and "Algi" were the ones who made me pissed off, but pissed off i a funny way. So overall, band was good. Funnayeee. ;D

I am dreading next coming tuesday. I am so frustrated with the preparation for Talent Search can. No, I can't use the word "preparation" because we have not even rehearse or think about anything except the song! Whatsmore the song isn't confirmed and audition is on Tuesday. Tuesday! It was supposed to be last Tuesday; This coming tuesday's meant for the Sec Ones can! Sigh. Forget it. I DON'T CARE.

"Mrs Yip, please ask for our class's consent before you approve of or do something that seriously doesn't involve you but the whole of 2B. You too know the annoyance and dread that 2B has regarding competitions like this. Simply asking Isabel, Qing Yang and I to take part isn't as simple as you so think it is because we aren't even keen of joining! Yes, I know you meant us well as you want reputation for our class. But by this kind of scheme, please it so won't work."
